Welcome to The Richard Johnston Inn

Age Requirements: You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to reserve a room and stay as our guest without a parent, legal guardian, and or spouse at least twenty-one years of age.

Deposit: A deposit in the amount of the first night’s stay plus applicable taxes is taken for all reservations upon booking.

Check-In: Our regular check-in time is between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM.  Arrangements for early or late check-in may be made upon reservation or by contacting the Concierge prior to your arrival date.  Should you be delayed or plan on arriving outside of these hours, please call to make arrangements for a late check-in.

Check-out: Check-out time is 11:00 a.m.  A late check-out time may be requested, please do so at check-in.   We will make efforts to accommodate your request if at all possible.

Breakfast:  Our full breakfast, including breakfast bread, fresh fruit, yogurt, selection of juices and a sweet or savory entree served with a breakfast meat will be available each morning.  This is included in your stay and served in our beautiful dining room between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Cancellation: Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. We require ten (10) days notice for changes or cancellations made to your reservation. Should you cancel 10 days or more prior to your reservation; your deposit will be refunded minus $25 cancellation fee.   If cancelling the day of, we do not issue a refund. After 10 days the refund is prorated. If you cancel the room the day of your arrival, you forfeit your entire first night's deposit.  We are unable to provide refunds.  No show reservations or early departures will be charged the amount of the stay in full.

Children:  We have two suites that accommodate children.

Room Occupancy: Room rates are for double occupancy. No more than four people may be housed in our two double queen suites and two persons in all other rooms.  An additional fee of $30 per person per night is required.  There is no charge for children under 6.

Pets:  We have two pet friendly suites and there is a $50 per pet per night fee. 2 pet maximum. Pets are not to be left alone in room unless in locked carrier. Evidence of pet damage to a guest room will result in any and all necessary charges to the credit card on file for the coverage of all damages.

Internet Access: There is complimentary WiFi throughout the inn.

Television: All of our rooms offer cable television.

Smoking:  There is absolutely no smoking in any public area or guest room. Smoking is permitted in our courtyard. Please ask the staff for an ashtray. Evidence of smoking in a guest room will result in a $250 charge to the credit card on file for the room in question.

Lost Room Key: A $50 replacement fee will be charged to credit card on file.

Items Left Behind: We are happy to package and send articles left behind after check out. All costs associated with the shipment of the items are the responsibility of guest.

Group Bookings: For group bookings please refer to the Innkeeper, as a contract will be required.
